BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Indiana Hoosiers closed out their regular season in style on Sunday, beating Michigan 75-73 in overtime at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
Indiana senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis played his final game at Assembly Hall, finishing with 27 points, nine rebounds and six assists. He and fellow seniors Race Thompson and Miller Kopp scored all the points in overtime to beat Michigan for the second time this season.
“It's been a long four years, guys, a long four years,” he told the cheering fans afterward during his Senior Night farewell speech. “But as coach (Mike) Woodson was saying, 'Gentlemen, there's a lot of ball still to be played.'"
The Hoosiers finished 21-10 and now head into the postseason, starting with the Big Ten Tournament this week in Chicago. Indiana is the No. 3 seed and has a double-bye through Friday night. Their first game is at approximately 9 p.m. ET.
