BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — In front of a packed house at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, No. 14 Indiana picked up its biggest win of the women's college basketball season, taking down No. 4 Iowa 86-69 on Thursday night.

Thursday's win was a big one for the Hoosiers, who got walloped by Illinois on Monday, 86-66. But the home crowd and a total team effort helped Teri Moren's team get an upset win over Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeyes.

Sara Scalia was outstanding, ending the night with 25 points to lead all scorers in the contest. Mackenzie Holmes added 24 and Yarden Garzon finished with 15 points.

Indiana's best effort came on the defensive end. Clark still scored 24 points, but made just eight of her 26 shots from the floor. She was also three-of-16 from long range.

With the win, Indiana improved to 22-4 on the season and sits at 13-3 in Big Ten play. The Hoosiers are currently second in the Big Ten standings, behind Ohio State.
