EVANSTON, Ill. — Wednesday night in the Hoosiers, Wildcats matchup, the Indiana bench plus head coach Mike Woodson got two technical fouls.

With under 10 minutes to go in the first half, official Larry Scirotto first called a technical foul on the Hoosiers' bench. 

Moments later, Woodson followed Scirotto down the sidelines as the official seemed to ignore him. Woodson tapped his shoulder to which Scirotto called another technical but this time on Woodson.

With three and a half minutes to go in the first half, Indiana is losing to Northwestern 35-17. Freshman guard Jalen Hood-Schifino leads the Hoosiers with just six points.

The Wildcats currently hold an 18-7 season record and 9-5 Big Ten record as they're coming off three wins including the most recent victory over then-ranked No. 1 Purdue on Sunday.

Senior guard Boo Buie leads the pack with 16.6 points per game as one of two Wildcats averaging double figure scoring. Junior center Matthew Nicholson leads the way on the boards with 5.8 rebounds per contest.

No. 14 Indiana holds an 18-7 season record and 9-5 conference slate. The Hoosiers have also won their last three including its most recent one versus Michigan on Saturday.

Junior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis leads the team with 20.2 points and 11.3 rebounds per contest. Senior forward Miller Kopp, who played three seasons at Northwestern, is averaging 8.1 points as a starting Hoosier.
