Several Hoosiers Listed Questionable For Tuesday's Game Against Wisconsin

In this story:
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Injuries loom over Indiana's game against Wisconsin Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
On the Big Ten's pregame availability report, Indiana guards Xavier Johnson, Trey Galloway and CJ Gunn were all listed questionable.
Johnson has not played since suffering an elbow injury on Jan. 30 against Iowa, but coach Mike Woodson said the sixth-year senior point guard has taken part in certain aspects of practice lately. This is the first time he's been listed questionable since sustaining that injury.
"[Johnson] did some things [Sunday] on the floor, not a lot of contact" Woodson said Monday. "So all I'm doing is I'll go down today and talk to Tim [Garl, Indiana's head athletic trainer] and see where he is. I know he wants to play, man, in the worst way. Time is kind of running out on him, and I feel for him in that regard. But I'm just going to kind of follow his lead. I don't like playing players when they don't practice and not have some kind of contact. So I don't know. I'll know more today and see where he is in terms of him wanting to play ... We'll see today, see how he felt after running around a little bit yesterday without the contact and go from there. That's all we can do."
Galloway and Gunn both played in Saturday's 83-74 loss at Penn State, so their placement on the injury report came as a bit of a surprise.
Galloway took a few hard falls during the Penn State game, one of which sent him to bench for a brief period before he returned to action. Galloway appeared to be favoring his left foot while talking to Indiana trainers on the bench. He finished with 11 points in 34 minutes.
Gunn played 19 minutes Saturday, and there was no indication he suffered an injury. As expected, Jakai Newton and Jordan Rayford remain out. Neither has played this season.
If Indiana is without any or all of Johnson, Gunn and Galloway, the ball-handling responsibilities shift heavily to freshman guard Gabe Cupps and senior guard Anthony Leal.
Cupps has started 16-of-27 games this season and averages 2.8 points in 22.3 minutes per game. Leal has played in just 15 games this season and averages 2.5 points in 12.9 minutes per game.
