Depth Chart Prediction For Indiana Football's Week 1 Matchup Against Ohio State

Indiana did not release an official depth chart before its Week 1 matchup against Ohio State, so here's a prediction for what the two-deep depth chart could look like based on information gathered at press conferences and watching a handful of practices during fall camp.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana typically releases a two-deep depth chart in its weekly game notes, but that was not the case on Monday.

Keeping secrets like this is common in college football, as programs like Alabama and many others also declined to publish a depth chart before Week 1. Coaches simply want to keep their opponents in the dark as much as possible before taking the field.

Indiana entered fall camp with position battles up and down the roster, especially on defense, where Noah Pierre and Aaron Casey are the only returning everyday starters. The offense is a bit more solidified, but there was still open competition at most positions.

Here's a depth chart prediction heading into Indiana's season opener against Ohio State on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Memorial Stadium. This prediction is based on information gathered at press conferences and watching a handful of practices during fall camp. It should not be viewed as Indiana's official Week 1 depth chart.
