Indiana Football Week 7 Injury Report Against Michigan

Indiana listed three players out in the pregame injury report against Michigan, including cornerback Jamier Johnson, running back Josh Henderson and offensive lineman Max Longman. Indiana listed quarterback Dexter Williams II, wide receiver Cam Camper and wide receiver E.J. Williams Jr.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — In the pregame injury report before Saturday's Noon ET kickoff against Michigan, Indiana listed three players out and three as questionable.

Out

  • #9 Jamier Johnson, cornerback
  • #26 Josh Henderson, running back
  • #60 Max Longman, offensive lineman

Questionable

  • #5 Dexter Williams II, quarterback
  • #6 Cam Camper, wide receiver
  • #7 E.J. Williams Jr., wide receiver

The big news today is the upgrading of Dexter Williams II from out to questionable. Coach Tom Allen confirmed Tayven Jackson as the starting quarterback on Monday, and it's still highly unlikely Williams sees the field against Michigan today. Still, for the man who started at quarterback in the Hoosiers' final two games of the season before suffering a torn ACL, the progress he's making is encouraging.

Jamier Johnson has had up-and-down availability to say the least. The Texas transfer played against Ohio State before leaving with an injury. He then missed the Week 2 matchup against Indiana State, but played against Louisville in Week 3, but will now have missed three straight games, as the cornerback as listed as out against Michigan.

Running back Josh Henderson will also be missing his third straight game. Though the Hoosiers have two capable running backs still in Christian Turner and Jaylin Lucas, Henderson was RB1 at the season's start, and his presence will be surely missed.

Right guard Max Longman was injured against Louisville and will now miss his third straight game.

E.J. Williams Jr. has also missed three consecutive games, but the wide receiver has been upgraded to questionable for this Saturday. He suffered what appeared to be a hand injury against Indiana State, and he's been seen with a brace on his right hand.

After only playing five snaps against Maryland in Week 5, the availability of top wide receiver Cam Camper was a concern entering Saturday's game. The No. 1 wideout on Indiana has been listed as questionable for the game in Ann Arbor, however, Allen did say on Monday that the bye week was very good for Camper
