The Kansas Jayhawks are in the Final Four after finishing their run through the Midwest Regional with a win over the Miami Hurricanes on Sunday. They now face the Villanova Wildcats for a chance to play for a national championship.

Kansas entered the NCAA Tournament with a ranking of #3 in both polls and were the 1st seed in the Midwest Region. They are the highest ranked team and the only 1st seed remaining in the Tournament. Villanova entered the tournament ranked 6th in the AP Poll and 5th in the Coaches Poll. They were the 2nd seed in the South Regional.

This is the 10th meeting between these two teams. The Wildcats lead the series 5-4, including a 1-2 record in the NCAA Tournament. Kansas lost the last meeting in 2019, and has lost 4 of the last 5 against Villanova.
