For the second straight season, the Kansas Jayhawks will have to overcome an opponent twice in a row. Last season, it was the Oklahoma Sooners. This season, it is the TCU Horned Frogs.

Just five days ago, Kansas went on the road to Fort Worth to finish out the regular season, notching a dominant 84-61 victory to end with a 9-9 record in conference play. While their berth in the NCAA Tournament is all but assured, a loss tonight would make Selection Sunday a very tense night for Brandon Schneider and his squad.

TCU is playing what is potentially the last game for head coach Raegan Pebley, as she is resigning as soon as the season is complete. How that fact might affect their play tonight is anyone's guess, but it's doubtful that this game will be exactly like the one we just saw in Fort Worth.

TCU leads the all time series 15-11, but the Jayhawks have won the last four meetings and five of the last six. The Jayhawks also own a 2-1 advantage in meetings during the Big 12 Championship.

Before today's important matchup, here are the essentials:

Key Information

Prediction

The only real change from the last game seems to be the health of Holly Kersgieter, who was struggling with conditioning in the final week of the regular season after returning from concussion-like symptoms.  Kansas should win this one quite easily, but there might be some tense moments to get there.

Kansas 84, TCU 61.
