5:56pm: And it's officially over. Kansas loses their first home game of the season, 75-62 against Baylor.

5:54pm: Make that 13, as Chandler Prater fouls out and Andrews makes both free throws.

5:52pm: The Jayhawks are still fighting, but it's now an 11 point margin.

5:48pm: Jackson fouls out, and Kansas is down 9 again. They call timeout but then turn it over on 5 seconds on the inbound.

5:45pm: Coming down to the wire, but the Jayhawks are down by 9 points with just 1:25 to go.

5:42pm: Kansas gets a stop, scores a bucket to get back to 4 with 2:30 left, and Baylor calls timeout. Jackson is back in for the final push.

5:40pm: Strong defense from Kansas, but they are still struggling to score consistently.

5:35pm: Back in single digits again. Franklin and then Kersgieter each get a bucket to get it to 6, but Jackson gets whistled for her fourth foul after the shot. Timeout on the floor as Kansas looks to have one more big push in them.

5:32pm: Taiyanna Jackson gets the and-1, making the free throw. The lead is back to single digits. And the defense gets the ball back again.

5:30pm: Jayhawks get the fourth foul on Bickle, but only make one of the free throws.

5:27pm: Jayhawks got a good look, but Franklin couldn't hit the open three. Bickle gets fouled and we have a double digit deficit again.

5:24pm: Just like that, Kansas is back down by 9. Baylor made a few shots and Kansas couldn't hit anything, and we head to the final quarter with some work to do for the home team.

5:20pm: Kansas is shooting very well from long range.

5:18pm: Make that just 2. Another transition opportunity and Franklin buries the three. Baylor call timeout and the crowd is FIRED UP.

5:16pm: Jayhawks turn defense into offense again, with Franklin scoring on the fast break to get the margin back to 5.

5:14pm: Lots of energy coming out of the timeout, and they quickly cut the lead to just 5.

5:10pm: Kansas is struggling with the Baylor physicality and movement right now. They are down by 10 at the media timeout and are trying to start a run to get back in this one.

5:08pm: Jackson struggling from the line a bit, hitting just 1 of 4 in the last minute.

5:05pm: Fans are not happy as Jackson made a block but gets called for the foul. It is VERY loud in here after that.

5:03pm: Getting a bit chippy here, as this third quarter has already been very physical. But Kansas is battling and has the lead down to 5.

5:00pm: Kansas struggling with rebounding so far in the second half. Baylor with multiple chances to get a couple buckets.

4:56pm: Jayhawks are back out on the court for warmups as we get ready to start the second half.

4:42pm: Jayhawks are staying in this one with their defense. Kersgieter drew a charge to get the ball back for Kansas. But they can't do anything with it. Both teams are scoreless in the last 2:14 of the half and we head into the break with Baylor leading 32-27.

4:36pm: Kansas is starting to struggle with Baylor's movement, giving up some easy opportunities. But they are keeping it close for now, trying to get to the half to regroup a bit.

4:29pm: Back and forth we go, as Kansas and Baylor keep trading blows. But Kansas has a bad turnover and Coach Brandon Schneider wants a timeout. Kansas is down right now 27-23.

4:24pm: Big roar from the crowd and Mayberry hits a three and then Franklin takes a charge on the other end.

4:22pm: End of the quarter was a bit hectic, with 6 quick possession that ended in no points for either team in the final 1:30 of the period. Kansas trails 16-13 after 1.

4:17pm: Kansas can't catch a break right now, Getting called for multiple offensive fouls as both teams very physical.

4:10pm: A slow start turned quickly into a flurry of activity, with both teams getting up and down the court and the Jayhawks exploding for some quick points. Jackson picked up three quick blocks as Kansas went on a quick 11-4 run going into the media timeout.

4:01pm: It's getting pretty loud in here as we tip off. Kansas won the tip but turned it over immediately and Baylor takes an early lead.

3:50pm: Pretty good turnout as the lower sections are about 75% full and the middle rows are starting to fill up too. The crowd seems pretty excited to see this one get started.
