We're back with another batch of player ratings and if you don't remember the rating system, you can find them on last week's inaugural post.

Let me preface this list with the fact that I left off some absolute great games. Bangers like Yahtzee, Uno, and Boggle are some of my all-time favorites. You also won’t see too many children’s games like Candyland and Chutes and Ladders, but don’t worry, we left a classic kid’s game for the bottom of the stack. There’s no way I could add all the games that exist so surely one or more of your faves or least faves didn’t make the cut. Anyway, on to the ratings. Oh, and after that great performance, every player got a high rating, so that's a good sign.

5 Stars: Trivial Pursuit

The GOAT of all trivia games is the easy five star. Fun story: I had a group of friends who were jobless in college and sat around reading Trivial Pursuit cards to each other all day while they watched TV or drank midday beers. Don’t play this game with these types of people.

Christian Braun and Jalen Wilson were doing everything on both ends for KU.  Braun ended with 18 points and 10 rebounds while Jalen scored 15 and snatched seven boards.  The duo combined for seven assists as well.

4.5 Stars: Risk

The game of world domination. Where do you usually start to try to build your empire? Australia is a common choice, and once you get Asia, you’re set, but you’ve gotta pull the right cards early.

I was worried that Ochai Agbaji might not be up for it after his quarantine, but he sure was.  Scored 18 and grabbed nine rebounds.  Good to have you back, Och!

4 Stars: Sorry!

This game is awesome and you’ll never change my mind. But I did hear a vicious rumor that you can now come out of your home on any card. That’s beyond ridiculous. It’ll always be a one or two to start for me.

David McCormack didn't fill up the stat sheet like he normally does, but the engine was running all afternoon. Still, he ended with nine and eight and was a big reason why Baylor couldn't get it done down low.

Dajuan Harris was stellar again defensively, getting his hands all over the place, knocking balls loose, being a general pest.  Dished out seven assists as well.

Mitch Lightfoot looked solid out there.  Made all four attempts from the floor and finished with eight.  After an off night at ISU, it was nice to see Mitch have a good game.

3.5 Stars: Monopoly

This game is great until you get into about hour three. Then it just needs to end.

Guys, I saw Jalen Coleman-Lands make two, count 'em two, baskets in the paint!  Should he get a higher star for this rare feat?  Probably, but he only played 11 minutes.  If he'd played more, I'm sure he would've scored in double figures in this one.

3 Stars: Battleship

How many people cheated at this game? It’s really the ultimate game of trust when it comes to old school board games.

A couple of ill advised threes before Kansas had set up its offense got Joseph Yesufu immediately benched.  I thought he was pretty good other than that.

2 Stars: The Game of Life

I remember disliking this game when I was a kid in the 1980s. It already seemed outdated by then. I’m sure they’ve updated it, but this is one of the stupider games out there.

No one received a two star.

1 Star: Hungry, Hungry Hippos

I always wanted HHH when I was a kid. Man, the commercials made it look so fun. It’s not. It’s boring and a waste of time and money. How many parents spent money on this dumb thing only for their children to get bored with it by 7:37AM on Christmas morning? Millions.

Luckily, no one was as bad as this game.

The Brad Witherspoon Memorial No Star

KJ Adams, Bobby Pettiford, Chris Teahan, and Michael Jankovich played mop up minutes and don't get a rating today.
