Player Ratings to the Theme of Snow

Contents
Kansas City experienced a rare March snowstorm, so today we rate KU’s quarterfinal win to snow related things. Why not?
5 Stars:
Pristine snow
I dislike snow, but even a curmudgeon like me has to appreciate the beauty of undisturbed, pristine snowfall.
Chris Teahan. Did anyone else shoot 100% from three point land while also sporting a sweet mullet? Didn’t think so.
4.5 Stars:
Snowball fights
Was there anything better to do in the winter as a kid than get into a massive neighborhood wide snowball fight?
No one is rated here.
4 Stars:
Michigan Snowplow Names
The Michigan Department of Transportation is pretty creative with their snowplow names. Some of my faves: Gordie Plow, Aaron Brr, Sleetwood Mac, Pepe le Plow.
Christian Braun is a double-double machine. Eleven points and 14 rebounds later, and he does it again.
Ochai Agbaji wasn’t good from three point land, but made up for it by being aggressive on the floor and powering toward the rim. Finished with 18 points.
Jalen Wilson was pretty good in this one. Finished with 15 points and five boards.
Dajuan Harris scored six, assisted seven, and was his typical defensive self.
Mitch Lightfoot. Kansas got a good game from Mitch, and it was the perfect timing. David McCormack was resting his foot and Mitch stepped up finishing with ten points and five rebounds.
Jalen Coleman-Lands is a four star because of that sweet Globetrotters move he perfected late in the second half. The ratings are arbitrary after all (see the five star).
3.5 Stars:
Sno-Cones
I’d rather eat ice cream of course, but a quality sno-one is pretty tasty. Ever been to Puerto Rico? I highly recommend eating a piraguas, a street food sno-cone.
I don’t think it was David McCormack’s fault that he didn’t play much and I’m fine with it. Still finished with nine points and five boards.
Remy Martin and Joseph Yesufu didn’t do anything to take minutes away from Harris, but they were both solid and as I said in the preview of the game, the more they play now, the better KU will be when they have to use them in crunch games.
3 Stars:
Driving in snow
This gets the classic three spot because in some parts of the country, this is no problem, a ho-hum. In others, just stay home.
Zach Clemence and KJ Adams could’ve been rated higher if they had had more minutes.
2 Stars:
Shoveling snow
Do people like this? It’s not terrible, but certainly not enjoyable.
No one was the equivalent of shoveling snow.
1 Star:
When snow turns grey
After the snow turns to slush and the cars spray it all over the place and everything takes on that shade of grey, things get pretty depressing looking out there.
Certainly, no one was as bad as grey slush.
