100 Days To Kansas Football: The Countdown Begins
Today marked a big milestone in the offseason for Lance Leipold and the Kansas Jayhawks, and Kansas Football Twitter account marked the occasion on Twitter:
And of course, with this milestone comes a staple of summer-time football coverage in my time covering the team: The 100 Day Countdown. It kicks off today with a brief overview of what you can look forward to and expect from us at Blue Wings Rising.
This year, we have the benefit of a more "normal" offseason, one with an expectation of a full Spring Practice season and summer workouts. The coaching staff has been in place for longer than just a couple months, and we have a general idea of what to expect going into next season.
In our series, we will take a look at what happened last season, what we learned over the spring, and then look ahead to what you should expect to see next season. You will hear from all of our contributors here at Blue Wings Rising in some fashion, and we will cover a variety of topics as they come up.
And that coverage will come in a variety of ways, including traditional articles, roundtable discussions, Q&As and mailbags, and podcast discussions, so there will be a little of something for everyone.
While I can't promise that we will have an entry in the countdown every single day (after all, life happens no matter how well we plan), we have plenty of topics to cover. Plus, we don't plan on ignoring any breaking news for basketball or other sports in the meantime moving forward.
