The Kansas Jayhawks find themselves back on the road after taking their first loss in the final game of their homestand. And the game to get them back on track? A road matchup against a struggling Oklahoma Sooners team that has dropped their last three games, including the last two very convincingly.

Kansas remained in the AP Poll at #19 and dropped in the Coaches Poll to #20, maintaining their ranked status despite the loss to TCU. Oklahoma is unranked. It is the first time that a ranked Kansas team has faced an unranked Oklahoma team since the 1992 season, when the Jayhawks won 27-10 in Lawrence.

Oklahoma leads the all-time series between these two teams 79-27-6, including a 37-15-3 record in Norman. The Sooners have won the last 17 meetings between these two teams, with the last win for the Jayhawks coming on October 4, 1997 in Lawrence.
