Kansas has had some talented wide receivers in the past and it’s safe to say that they are looking to add more to that talented list but in order to do that they have to recruit well. They have targeted many high-level recruits but one in specific they have targeted they have made a solid impact on already. They recruit from all over the world and this time they went into the state of Georgia to one of the most prestigious High Schools in the country to recruit a specific wideout prospect.

Jordan Allen is a 5-foot-8 170-pound wideout from Buford High School in Buford, Georgia. He is a three-star prospect and is ranked in the top 600 overall across the nation. The pass catcher spoke with Blue Wings Rising to talk about Kansas and where they stand in his recruitment despite having offers from other schools including Tennessee, Georgia, Michigan, Florida, Clemson, and more.

“It was a blessing when I first received the offer,” Allen stated to Blue Wings Rising. “Kansas is a great program. They have a good thing going up there for sure. They finished in the top 25 last season and I think they will continue to be very productive.”

Talking about which coaches he spoke with the talented Georgia prospect stated, “First I spoke with Coach O (DE coach/ special teams coordinator). He called me after practice one day and offered me. I have also been in contact with Coach Billy Bonneau (Assistant Director of Recruiting).”

He was asked what he believed he could bring to Kansas if that was to be his final choice come decision time. “I would bring my game-changing ability. I would be a player who can create explosive plays and contribute to the team’s success.”

Allen also stated, “Their style of play catches my eye the most out of anything and that’s what makes Kansas unique to me.”

He also confirmed that he will be attempting to visit but doesn’t have any current plans set up and that Kansas is a top school in his recruitment.
