Kentucky is making waves on the 2024 recruiting trail following the commitment of top quarterback Cutter Boley.

Recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow and head coach Mark Stoops are set to welcome a bevy of important prospects to Lexington in June, and along with that comes cracking a final-school list or two.

After making the top six for a coveted 4-star cornerback out of Cincinnati earlier this week, another defensive back included the Cats in his final six on Thursday afternoon.

Jashad Presley, a safety out of Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, is considering UK, along with UCF, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh and Tennessee:

The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder took an unofficial visit to Kentucky back in March. He has taken three visits to the hometown Knights of UCF and currently has his first official visit scheduled with Georgia Tech for late June. Presley owns a 3-star ranking from On3, but is not yet ranked by the other three major recruiting services.

Presley had 28 tackles and one interception in five games played on varsity for Dr. Phillips a season ago, per MaxPreps.

Defensive coordinator Brad White and defensive backs coach Chris Collins have an unproven secondary moving into the 2023 season and wouldn't scoff at any added depth for the future. They'll have to fight off UCF coach Gus Malzahn and the Yellow Jackets if they want to bring the Florida talent up to the Bluegrass.
