Social media reacts to Maryland basketball hiring Buzz Williams as new head coach

In this story:
There is a new era in College Park. On Tuesday, Maryland announced it had hired Texas A&M's head coach, Buzz Williams, to fill the Terrapins' head coaching vacancy left by Kevin Willard. Following a Sweet 16 run, Willard bolted for Villanova, and now the former two-time SEC Coach of the Year will bring his coaching experience to Maryland. The school and Williams agreed to a six-year deal.
Williams had coached the Aggies for the previous six years. He also coached Virginia Tech (five years) and Marquette (six years). Williams has led his programs to 11 NCAA Tournament appearances and 13 20-win seasons in 18 years as a head coach.
Following Maryland's decision to hire Williams, social media went into a frenzy. Here are some of the best reactions we could find.
College Park is buzzing!

Buzz Williams could prove to be a good hire. His track record is better than either of Maryland's last two coaches. He deserves a chance.

But Maryland's admin again showed a disdainful lack of consideration of its fans' opinions. Of all the candidates, he seemed least popular.
File this under an odd coincidence: @TerrapinHoops hired its second full-time head coach from @aggiembk. Mark Turgeon went from College Station to College Park and now after the Kevin Willard (via Seton Hall) era Buzz Williams comes from Texas A&M, too.

Buzz Williams’ buyout to leave Texas A&M dropped to $1 million today, per his contract. Maryland is set to receive $2 million from Villanova for Kevin Willard’s departure. https://t.co/EvFcJfsBFW

Williams, 52, has spent the last six seasons in College Station and has led the Aggies to the NCAA tourney each of the last three years.
