Chalupa Batman and Miami Recruit Vincent Shavers Talk Football, Break Down Film

In this story:
It's good to gain a different perspective of what the recruits for the Miami Hurricanes will be like on and off the gridiron. With that in mind, All Hurricanes own Corey Carmona, i.e. Chalupa Batman, went in depth with Canes recruit Vincent Shavers from the 2024 recruiting class.
Here's an overview of the programs that recruited Shavers, and where he's from:
Offered by the likes of Florida, Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan State and UCF, among others. He is a linebacker for Miami (Fla.) Central, so he's no stranger to being a part of a winning culture.
Here's part of what All Hurricanes had to say about his style of play from his player profile:
"A versatile linebacker, Shavers will make his mark with several different roles as a Hurricane. Special teams play will be all but assured, and his athleticism, especially his speed, should make Shavers a unique option for nickel and dime packages. Depending on how much muscle Shavers adds while keeping his flexibility, he could play a hybrid linebacker role and/or the weak side linebacker position within the base defensive package. Either will serve him well at Miami because he can then be blitzed off the edge or chase down ball carriers from behind; both categories have been a part of his game during Shavers' prep career."
Now, here's the actual video that Chalupa Batman did with Shavers:
It's a great way to check out what Shavers is all about. Give a look. Good stuff!
