In this story:

Miami will be looking to secure a quarterback commitment with other programs already finding future talents to play behind center.

Alabama landed Julian Sayin from Carlsbad (Calif.) High School and Notre Dame secured the commitment of CJ Carr from Saline (Mich.) High School.

Sayin has been ranked by 247 Sports as the #34 player in the country, while Carr was placed at #37.

For Miami, a great opportunity to land a signal caller will be coming in the near future.

As the No. 55 player in the country by 247 Sports, the 6-foot-3 and 195-pound Prentiss Air Noland has a smooth left-handed release that finds its intended targets whether throwing short, intermediate or deep.

Mario Cristobal and the Canes will certainly be battling with everything they have to land the prospect that just threw for 4,095 yards and 55 touchdowns in 2022.

Playing for Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes, Noland has been accustomed to going against the Peach State’s best. Noland has also played for Cam Newton 7v7 and South Florida Express 7v7, further giving him a chance to learn about being a top-notch quarterback.

Those are some of the reasons why Cristobal has targeted Noland and built a great relationship. That’s a fact based on Noland’s comments about the current Miami head coach back on Feb. 28.

"We have a great relationship. We text every morning, me and Coach Cristobal love each other. He thinks I'm a great person not only on the field, but off the field and with my family.

"Coach Cristobal has it going in the right direction."

There’s more good news, as Noland was just at the University of Miami and met up with Seattle Seahawks signal caller Geno Smith. Smith played for now Miami offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson and also played at nearby Miramar (Fla.) High School.

Noland was also given the red carpet treatment while in Coral Gables and he’s definitely wanted in South Florida. Here’s one of the tweets that Noland placed on his personal page from just two days ago:

Also coming up, he will head up North and visit Ohio State on "March 31," per Noland himself.

In just a few weeks, everyone will know where Noland, one of the nation’s top signal callers, plans to call home for college.
