With Miami’s spring practice sessions continuing to take place, it has been an opportunity for top recruits to check out the practices at the Greentree practice facility.
While the visit list consistently changes with so many Dade County and Broward County prospects making last-minute decisions to drive over to the University of Miami campus, keep in mind that the following five prospects should be considered a sampling of the total number of recruits that will visit today and throughout the rest of spring ball.
Most important to note, quarterback Prentiss “Air” Noland will be checking out the scene in South Florida today.

In late February, this was what Noland stated about Miami and head coach Mario Cristobal.
"We have a great relationship. We text every morning, me and Coach Cristobal love each other. He thinks I'm a great person not only on the field, but off the field and with my family.
"Coach Cristobal has it going in the right direction."
With Miami quarterback recruiting, there are many moving parts. Noland has been in the thick of the conversation and Noland would be a welcome addition to the Hurricanes brotherhood.
One of the prospects that’s expected to visit at least once if not a few times would be Miami (Fla.) Norland defensive end Tyclean Luman. He’s pictured here from the Orlando Under Armour Camp, where he was very impressive by winning co-defensive line MVP.

Luman has a twin brother Tycoolhill Luman that’s also at Norland as well as visiting Miami today, and they both hold offers from Mario Cristobal and The U.
Miami has a long tradition of producing top edge rushers, and adding both of these 6-foot-3 and 230-plus-pound edge defenders from Norland would be a great way to bolster the roster.
Sticking with Dade County, the Canes continue to go after talent at Miami (Fla.) Central. Miami already signed linebacker Wesley Bissainthe from the 2022 class, and just added edge rusher Rueben Bain, Jr. from the 2023 class.
Now, adding linebacker Vincent Shavers to UM’s 2024 roster has become a priority. He’s on campus today and would be a player similar to Bissainthe in terms of how he performs.
A fast player that can consistently compete against spread offenses, Shavers has helped to define what many college football programs desire from a second-level defender.
The 6-foot and 205-pound linebacker probably projects at weak side linebacker, but could also end up at middle linebacker – at least situationally – when needed, i.e. obvious passing downs.
Finally, it must be noted yet again that Miami will be hosting big-time Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy defensive lineman David Stone, not once, but twice.
He’s slated to see the Canes this weekend and next. As talented an interior pass rusher as any other defensive tackle in the country, this would be the type of player that can help change games. Here's Stone running the 40-yard dash.

Numerous programs have been coming after Stone, but it’s intriguing that the talented defender that’s 6-foot-4 and 283 pounds will come to see Miami two weekends in a row. The Canes must make a move with double the opportunities to impress him in less than two weeks.
If Stone ends up in Miami's class, that would be a great way to make a run at a possible top five national recruiting class.
