Miami Will Be Hosting A Recruit From The Pacific Northwest

He has three planned visits for this spring, Miami included

The Miami Hurricanes continue to load up their spring recruiting calendar with unofficial visitors from across the United States.

6-foot-3, 290-pound offensive lineman Willi Wascher has planned a visit to Miami for the spring. From Bellevue (Wash.) High School, his recruitment is slowly taking shape with offers from USC, Miami, and Nevada, while garnering interest from B1G foe Oregon.

He is not yet ranked by 247, but considering the programs already extending scholarships, all the major recruiting services will soon have him listed. Plus, Wascher's film is legit.

Watching him climb to the second level and square-up an inside linebacker, Wascher is an athletic interior offensive line recruit who will likely play center in college, the same position he's playing for Bellevue. Wascher spoke with AllHurricanes regarding his spring visit plans.

"I am visiting USC on March 30th. I'm flying down to Miami during spring break and be down there from April 9th-11th unofficially and then will visit Oregon April 27th," said Wascher.

Miami's coaching staff is working together to get this Washington offensive lineman to South Beach.

"The Miami coaching staff as a whole shows me a lot of love. Coach (Mario) Cristobal, Coach (Shannon) Dawson, and Coach (Alex) Mirabal are who I talk to mostly at Miami."

The Hurricanes will have multiple days on his visit to wow him and show everything Miami has to offer academically and athletically for the Bellevue HS (Wa.) offensive lineman, but until then they have two Big-Ten schools to fend off.

"I would say USC, Oregon, and Miami have been recruiting me the hardest so far," Wascher admitted.

With that being said, he is in no rush to make his college decision.

"I am in no rush to be honest. I am watching things unfold within the NCAA. I'm going to be taking my time to build relationships with the coaching staffs and just make sure, when I do make my college decision, I am making the right decision."

The Hurricanes are in a good spot right now in Wascher recruitment and that comes to no surprise as coach Mirabal and the UM staff are tremendous recruiters who build relationships with recruits across the nation.

Miami fans should keep an eye on this recruitment when April comes around. Stay tuned to AllHurricanes for the latest recruiting/team information on the Miami Hurricanes.
