Rapid Fire: Top Prospects From Under Armour Orlando

In this story:
This is the rapid fire edition from Orlando Under Armour. It’s not Miami specific, although several prospects have been included that could end up with the Canes. Let’s get started.
*Chauncy Bowens might have been the most physically impressive prospect there. His wide shoulders and first-step burst were two of the reasons he turned heads.
The running back from Palm Beach (Fla.) The Benjamin School has been committed to Florida for a long time, but he’s being heavily recruited by numerous other programs like Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State and many others. It’s going to be hard for the Gators to hold onto him.
* 2025 OL Solomon Thomas has the frame of a big-time college player right now. He plays for Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines. His natural agility showed in many drills, including the 40-yard dash.
Props to @SolomonThomas2x for his #UANEXT performance. He’s a tremendous athlete for a player his size, and he’s only class of 2025. @SBLiveFL | @JohnGarcia_Jr | @AllHurricanes pic.twitter.com/I5PyMdU7Wp

*Tampa Bay (Fla.) Tech wide receiver Santonyo Isaac was fantastic during one-on-one drills. He’s a natural football player and one that can be great at the college level. His recruitment will be very interesting.
*Overall, the wide receiver position was loaded. That's typical Florida. Look for roughly 40 wide receivers from the Sunshine State to sign with major college programs when all is said and done.
*He’s not the biggest guy in the world, but Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Saint Thomas Aquinas cornerback Ryan Mack has tremendous technique. He’s going to be a really good college football player.
*It took a while, but another cornerback has seen his recruitment blow up and for good reason. Cai Bates has the length that college coaches covet, and he’s a competitive prospect that wants to win each and every rep.
That’s why the vast majority of the big-time programs have now offered the cornerback from Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater. His recruitment will be quite interesting.
*Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Saint Thomas Aquinas running back Stacy Gage has natural football skills. He makes plays. Whether it was during drills or one-on-ones, Gage stood out. That’s the bottom line.
*Defensive back Courtney Patterson may not be a prospect a lot of people know much about just yet, but the 2025 Ocala (Fla.) Trinity Catholic prospect showed his talents during one-on-ones. He’s going to be a highly recruited prospect.
*Wide receiver Miles Burris was torching defensive backs. He’s started to heat up in recruiting and it’s long overdue. Here’s a bomb he caught from quarterback Colin Hurley:

Burris and Hurley will be playing together at Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian this fall.
*Running back Khalid Campbell was tremendous at running routes and making plays. He could probably play slot at the college level. The Clearwater (Fla.) Clearwater Academy International prospect will be a lot for defenses to handle this upcoming season and next, as he’s in the class of 2025.
*Miami (Fla.) Norland offensive tackle Raynor Andrews has the frame and strength to become a big-time college player. He still has a lot of technique work to do (as do pretty much all high school OL), but one cannot teach the natural skills that Andrews possesses.
Overall, Norland brought several prospects to Under Armour and that should be one of the best teams in Florida this fall.
*This was the best overall group of quarterbacks in the state of Florida in a long time. Hurley, an LSU commitment, stood out, but several other prospects looked good as well.
Tampa (Fla.) Wharton signal caller Jackson Jensen did an excellent job with his timing and deep ball throws. He was one of the top overall performers according to camp evaluators and deserved the recognition.
Even a 2026 quarterback prospect in Carter Emanuel from Orlando (Fla.) Lake Nona did well. He has natural size and will be a coveted prospect.
*Not even college programs recruit Polk County, located between Tampa and Orlando. It’s loaded, however. A great example would be cornerback Carlos Mitchell, Jr. from Lake Wales (Fla.) High School. He has the talent to play for any school in the country.
*The vast majority of recruits came from high schools in Florida, but offensive lineman Elyjah Thurmon came from Hinesville (Ga.) Bradwell Institute. The class of 2025 prospect looked the part, and he could move, too. Look for him to be a recruit that sees a lot of attention heading into his junior campaign.
*Another underclassmen to watch would Amari Jones from Dunnellon (Fla.) High School. He’s an elite athlete from the class of 2026; could play wide receiver or cornerback. He made some excellent moves during one-on-ones, including breaking wide open during a whip route.
