In this story:

It was another dominant performance from Michigan on Saturday. It didn’t start off dominant, the Wolverines were down 7-0 to the Hoosiers after the first quarter ended, but the next three belonged to Michigan.

The Wolverines scored 52 unanswered points and Michigan took home a 52-7 victory to move to 7-0 on the year.

After Georgia didn’t look as dominant against Vanderbilt as Michigan did against IU, Kirk Herbstreit moved the Wolverines to No. 1 on his personal rankings.

The College GameDay personality has Michigan, Georgia, Washington, and Florida State as his top four.

While in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter and the only thing that matters is what the College Football Playoff committee thinks when they vote, but it’s a nice notion from a prominent voice in college football.
