The Michigan Wolverines have made the cut for elite 2026 cornerback, Chauncey Kennon. The four-star prospect is ranked as the No. 1 cornerback i the country according to 247Sports, along with being the No. 6 overall prospect in the state of Florida.

At 6-2, 180 pounds, Kennon already has the size you love to see from a future corner at the collegiate level. He's also got the speed, showcasing his talents on the track with personal bests of 11.37 (0.2) in the 100-meter dash, 23.36 in the 200-meter dash, 22-1.5 in the long jump and 6-2 in the high jump.

Although Kennon currently holds 21 offers from some of the top programs around the country, he recently narrowed his list to 10 schools - including Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Colorado, Miami, Missouri, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Penn State, and Michigan. There are no projections yet from 247Sports, but On3 seems to have a high level of confidence that he'll remain in the state of Florida - with Florida and Miami leading the way.

But as we've seen in recent weeks, Michigan is fully prepared to battle any program in the country if there's a recruit they want badly enough. Offering recruits a world-class education, access to a vast alumni network, the opportunity to play on the biggest stage in all of college football, and an NIL platform that can compete with anyone, there's no question that Michigan will continue to be a player for the top prospects around the country.
