According to a report from the Washington Post, vice presidential candidate Tim Walz will attend the Michigan vs. Minnesota football game this weekend as part of his campaign stop in Michigan. According to a campaign official, Walz intends to meet with students in Ann Arbor to "speak about the importance of registering to vote and the power of their participation.

Given the fact that he has served as the Governor of Minnesota since 2018, it's not all that surprising to see that Walz selected this particular game to attend.

As for the game itself, Michigan (3-1) enters the matchup as a 9.5 point favorite over Minnesota (2-2). The Wolverines have won four straight against the Golden Gophers and 26 of the last 28. The game will kick off at Noon on FOX.
