  • Men's basketball, Hall of Fame Classic, Championship Game: Mississippi State 66, Northwestern 57
  • Women's basketball: Mississippi State 63, Belmont 62. Senior guard Darrione Rogers corralled a loose ball rebound and finished a second-chance putback with 17 seconds left in regulation. Graduate student center Jessika Carter filled the stat sheet with a team-high 17 points, and senior guard Jerkaila Jordan had 13 points and eight rebounds, 
  • Volleyball: Ole Miss def. Mississippi State 30-28, 25-15,25-15. Karli Schmidt led the Bulldogs with 12 kills. Amina Shackelford had 10 kills and two blocks.
  • Soccer, NCAA Tournament: Stanford 1, Mississippi State 0

Did You Notice?

  • The Bulldogs are a flawless 12-0 mark during the month of November in the Chris Jans era. State also won its second consecutive multi-team tournament championship under the coach. The Maroon and White claimed the Fort Myers Tipoff last year with wins over Big East champion Marquette (58-55) and Utah (52-49). 
  • Women's basketball had only 11 fouls at Belmont. The Bulldogs entered Sunday ranking second nationally in the statistical category with only 9.0 fouls per game.
  • The Super Bowl rematch between the Eagles and Chiefs on Monday night will feature four former Bulldogs: DT Fletcher Cox and CB Darius Slay with the Eagles, plus LB Willie Gay Jr. and Chris Jones on the Chiefs.
