More All-American honors roll in for pair of Mississippi State players

The NCBWA announced its All-Americans for the 2025 season and included two Bulldogs on its first team.

The post-season honors keep coming in for Mississippi State’s Ace Reese and Noah Sullivan.

The National College Baseball Writers Association named both Reese and Sullivan to its 25th Division I All-America First-Team.

Reese, the SEC Newcomer of the Year, ended the 2025 season with a .352/.422/.718 slash line in 57 games and 227 at-bats. He had 80 total hits, including 18 doubles, one triple and 21 home runs to drive in 66 RBIs. He did have 52 strikeouts, but also drew 26 walks.

Sullivan hit .345 with 15 home runs, 16 doubles, 46 RBIs, 42 strikeouts and 35 walks. He also posted a 1.96 ERA in seven starts, allowing only four earned runs on 17 total hits, three walks and 15 strikeouts.
