How to Watch: Mississippi State Men's Basketball at LSU

Mississippi State and LSU are both trending in the right direction as the SEC Tournament looms.

Both the Mississippi State and LSU men's basketball teams have had an up-and-down SEC play period, as the Bulldogs are 7-6 in the conference, while the Tigers are 6-7.

However, they're both on the better end of the trend as of late as Mississippi State has won its last four games and LSU has come out victorious in its previous two. Nevertheless, LSU's recent outcomes are perhaps more impressive as the Tigers defeated No. 11 South Carolina on Feb. 17 and won off of a buzzer-beater against No. 17 Kentucky on Wednesday night.

As the SEC Tournament looms, both teams are fighting for a better seed to increase their chances to dance in March. Momentum is a powerful asset in college basketball and as we inch toward the time of year in which it is most apparent, it could be a deciding factor in Saturday night's game.
