The recruiting process in football is one that can be plenty full of surprises, and there's no doubt that was the case in days leading up to four-star offensive lineman Marques Easley announcing his commitment.

When he posted the three schools that had made his final cut back on June 18th, he named off Alabama, Oklahoma and Tennessee as the favorites. So there is no question that it was a shock when he committed to Georgia less than one month later.

Georgia currently has the No. 1 class in the country with 26 verbal commits, 19 of which are blue-chip prospects.
