How to Watch: Missouri Women's Basketball at Tennessee

The Missouri Tigers are aiming to turn things around, but the Tennessee Lady Volunteers are near the top of the SEC.

The Missouri women's basketball team has been in a bit of dry spell of late, as it's lost three straight games and is 2-6 in SEC play.

The Tigers are aiming to turn things around, as March will be here before we know it. But Tennessee, their next matchup, brings a lot to the table, as the two teams' records against the SEC are the exact opposite.

That said, if Mizzou can upset the Lady Volunteers on the road, the chances of a momentum shift in the locker room for the next few games are that much more likely. They won't have that jolt if they lose.

Last meeting: The Tigers nearly snapped the then-five-game losing streak against Tennessee on Jan. 22, 2023, but fell 68-65. Tennesee forward Rickea Jackson hit a jumper while fouled with one second remaining and made the free throw as well. Missouri forward Hayley Frank's 26 points and center Jayla Kelly's 14 were the Tigers' only double-digit scorers.

Last time out, Missouri: The Tigers dropped their third-straight game against Arkansas 67-58 on Jan. 28, even though it was a one-point contest at the start of the fourth quarter. Missouri guard Ashton Judd and the aforementioned Frank combined for 35 points, but the rest of the team couldn't follow in their footsteps.
