Navy Depth Chart vs. Notre Dame
Notre Dame kicks off the 2023 season on Saturday when it travels to Dublin, Ireland to square off against the Navy Midshipmen. Navy has released its depth chart for the matchup against Notre Dame.

NAVY DEFENSE
Navy returns 16 starters from its 2022 football team. There are 7 returners on offense and 9 returners on defense.
*** Sophomore Teddy Gleaton was expected to start at quarterback coming out of the spring but he has been out all fall camp due to an academic issue. Tai Lavatai was the starter for the Midshipmen most of last season.
*** Navy returns four starting offensive linemen, with Ben Purvis being the only new starter on the line. Navy also returns all three of its starters along the defensive line.
*** Navy returns all four of its starters in the secondary, although 2022 starting safety Eavan Gibbons is now listed as a backup at Bandit.
