The latest Notre Dame Rundown show from Irish Breakdown looked at two important topics, the Irish 2024 football schedule and the Notre Dame offensive line. Notre Dame will look to manage that schedule in a way that gets the program into the College Football Playoff, and the performance of the offensive line will play a big role in that.

PART I - NOTRE DAME SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN

There is a lot of talk about how Notre Dame's 2024 schedule is soft, but this comes from many of the same segments of the fanbase that rightly defend the challenge of the 2023 schedule. What's interesting, however, is that Notre Dame's 2024 schedule is filled with teams that had a better winning percentage in 2023 than what the opponents on the 2023 schedule had.

There is also a discussion about the biggest games, the trap game, whether or not the schedule was put together in a way that benefits Notre Dame and more. 

PART II - NOTRE DAME O-LINE OVERVIEW

Notre Dame loses a lot from its 2023 offensive line, but the unit also returns a lot of talented football players. There's little doubt that Notre Dame has loads of talent on the offensive line, but there are also a lot of questions. In this part of the show I discuss what was lost, what returns and the newcomers. I also pose five very important questions facing. the offensive line that will determine just how good this unit can be. Those questions include whether or not we'll see a year two jump now that Notre Dame is going into year two of the Joe Rudolph tenure.
