Senior day in South Bend is upon as Notre Dame welcomes Syracuse to town Saturday

Notre Dame (8-2) likely sits just two wins away from a return trip to the College Football Playoff as it gets set to welcome Syracuse (3-7) to South Bend for senior day on Saturday.

It's a rather anti-climactic final two weeks for Notre Dame, who plays at Stanford (3-7) to close the regular season next weekend.

Notre Dame has battled injuries this year, as everyone as has, as it enters its final two games of the year. However, Notre Dame seemed to get out of Pittsburgh relatively unscathed on that front.
