2024 Arkansas Standout Linebacker Brian Huff Sets Visit To Notre Dame

The Blue-Gold Game has been set for April 22nd, which is the conclusion of the spring practice for Notre Dame football. That day is also a massive recruiting event every year, attracting some notable recruits to South Bend for the experience.

Irish Breakdown has been informed that 2024 Jonesboro (Ark.) Valley View linebacker Brian Huff has set a visit for that weekend. It will be his first visit to Notre Dame, a school that offered him back on January 19th.

Huff is rated as a four-star recruit by both On3 and Rivals currently He currently sits as the No. 164 overall player and No. 13 linebacker in the 2024 recruiting class according to On3. Huff is also rated as the No. 2 player in the state of Arkansas on that ranking.

The 6-3, 210-pound linebacker is coming off of a standout junior campaign. Huff recorded 92 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, two pass breakups and three fumble recoveries. He also blocked a kick and forced a fumble on the season.

While he doesn’t get much time on the offensive side of the football, Huff was able to haul in one reception for 24 yards.

The Arkansas standout has begun to put together a substantial offer list. Some of the notable programs who have extended offers so far include the Irish, LSU, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State and Missouri among others. That list promises to continue to expand moving forward.

Linebacker recruiting has been a strange conversation during the 2024 recruiting cycle so far. There is a flurry of talented players on the board but there are some questions as to what the hierarchy is on the board and who are the key targets. Huff’s visit to South Bend will be a big indicator for just how much interest there is on both sides.
