Notre Dame Coaches On The Road - May 4th

In this story:
The Notre Dame coaching staff is back out on the road again today as they continue checking in on top programs around the country, and many of the top 2024 and 2025 prospects. The Irish will also be out to see a couple of Fighting Irish commits.
Here’s a look at where I expect the Irish coaches to be tomorrow.
Gerad Parker, Offensive Coordinator – The Irish offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Gino Guidugli will be at Brentwood Academy in Tennessee, which is the home of big time quarterback George MacIntyre. Notre Dame offered MacIntyre back when Tommy Rees was the coordinator, and since he left the Irish have been attempting to get traction with him. So far the Irish are trailing several other programs, but visits like this are intended to continue getting in better position in hopes of convincing him to get on campus this summer.
Gino Guidugli, Quarterbacks – As stated above, Guidugli will be over to Brentwood Academy with Parker to begin the day, but it won’t be his only stop in Tennessee. He’ll also be out to Nashville Christian, which is the home of one of the nation’s best 2026 quarterbacks, Jared Curtis.
Chansi Stuckey, Wide Receivers – The Irish wide receivers coach will be down in Jacksonville, Fla., where he’ll swing by Mandarin High School to check in on 2025 wide receiver Jaime Ffrench. The talented pass catcher and younger brother of former Pitt wideout Maurice Ffrench made a trip to Notre Dame this winter and the Irish are hoping to stay in the mix with him moving forward.
Joe Rudolph, Offensive Line – Rudolph will spend his second day in Iowa, where he’ll be at Logan (Iowa) Magnolia, the home of 2024 offensive tackle Grant Brix. The Irish line coach was at Logan Magnolia yesterday as well. This is an important visit for Notre Dame, who are trying to send the message that Brix is a top target in a line class that needs a couple of tackles to close things out. Notre Dame sees the Iowa standout as a tackle.
Al Golden, Defensive Coordinator – Golden will be down in Alabama to check in on three defensive players. He’ll head over to Hoover (Ala.) High School, which is the home of 2024 linebacker Bradley Shaw, who made an unofficial visit to South Bend this winter. He’ll also be over to Highland (Ala.) Home High School, which is home to a pair of talented 2025 defenders – linebacker Jakaleb Faulk and defensive end CJ May.
Al Washington, Defensive Line – The Irish defensive line coach will be down in Georgia to see one of the newest commitments for the Fighting Irish. That would be Hoschton (Ga.) Mill Creek, which is the home of Cole Mullins. Right now Mullins is the top ranked commit in the Irish defensive class according to my grading system. This is a chance for Notre Dame to continue building that connection.
Mike Mickens, Cornerbacks – Mickens will be down in the Lone Star State to check in on an Irish commit. He’ll head over to Round Rock (Texas) High School, which is the home of 2024 commit Leonard Moore, one of my favorite players in the class.
Chris O’Leary, Safeties – The Irish safeties coach will be out in New Jersey in hopes of getting a top target back on track with his interest in Notre Dame. That would be West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep, which is the home of Jaylen McClain. For a long time he was arguably the top safety target on the board, but Notre Dame has fallen behind. Visits like this will hopefully reignite some interest with him in hopes of convincing McClain to make a visit to South Bend this summer.
