Fast Rising Offensive Tackle Jack Lange Set For Notre Dame Visit

In this story:
There are several 2025 recruits who are set to visit Notre Dame for this weekend’s battle against the Pitt Panthers. There may not be a more intriguing recruit visiting than Eureka (Mo.) High School offensive tackle Jack Lange, who is one of the biggest risers among any offensive lineman in the class.
Although Lange doesn’t currently hold an offer from the Irish, this visit is one to keep a very close eye on. Up until this point there hasn’t been much communication between the staff and the Missouri native but will be curious to see if that changes after the visit.
"I don’t really know what my expectations are at the moment but I'm just looking to get a better relationship with the coaches,” Lange told Irish Breakdown. "I'm looking forward to seeing how the offensive line warms up and how it translates to the field.
"My initial impressions of Notre Dame are really good,” he continued. "My family has been Notre Dame fans for the longest time so they’re excited for me to get up there.”
There’s a lot to like about Lange, who brings an impressive frame with a lot of growth potential. The staff has had some contact but this really is the start of the relationship this weekend.
"I’ve talked to Dre Brown, who is the director of high school recruiting, but no one else yet,” he explained. "It will be cool to be able to really get to know the staff this weekend.”
Will Notre Dame join the growing list of impressive schools to offer Lange? That question might get answered this weekend. Regardless, they are getting a visit from an offensive lineman who continues to rise massively in the class.
"Recruiting has really picked up in the past month for me,” Lange stated. "Some schools that are standing out to me right now are Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas State, Michigan, and Iowa.”
Anytime schools like Michigan and Iowa show interest in an offensive lineman, it is worth taking notice of. Lange brings outstanding upside to the table.
Lange is currently rated as a four-star recruit by On3, the only recruiting service that has ranked him so far. They peg him as the No. 290 overall player and No. 18 offensive tackle in the 2025 recruiting class. He is also rated as the No. 2 player in the state of Missouri, an area that has been going to the Irish in the 2023 and 2024 classes.
The 6-8, 275-pound offensive tackle has seen a big rise from a recruiting perspective since the season began. His offer list has continued to really blow up. Some of Lange’s top offers so far include Michigan, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Iowa, Kansas State, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and Vanderbilt among others.
