Notre Dame High On The List For Standout Lineman Jack Lange Early

18 days after visiting Notre Dame for their battle against Pitt, 2025 Eureka (Mo.) High School standout offensive tackle Jack Lange was offered by the Irish. Thinking back to that moment, it was big for the Missouri native. Notre Dame has had a special place in his heart for some time.

“I was really pumped when (Notre Dame) offered,” Lange told Irish Breakdown. “I have been a fan of Notre Dame for a while now and it was a very exciting moment.”

Since that offer was extended, the Irish staff has maintained consistent communication with Lange. They are, in return, one of the schools standing out right now.

“The relationship has been developing nicely,” Lange explained. “The coaches check in here and there and it’s good to chat with them. They are definitely high on my board.

“My top schools right now are Missouri, Nebraska, Michigan, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Washington and Kansas,” he continued. “Those staffs are all doing a good job recruiting me so far.”

There is a tentative timeline for Lange, but nothing overly film. It appears that it could change depending how things go.

“I’m going to try to commit at the end of the summer, or by the first signing day,” he said. “That’s the plan as of right now.”

Notre Dame currently does not hold any offensive line commits in the 2025 recruiting class. Lange could figure heavily into what could be a tremendous haul under Joe Rudolph. They clearly hold a special place in his heart, and it’ll be interesting to see how things heat up moving forward.

Lange is currently rated as a four-star recruit by On3, 247Sports and Rivals. 247Sports peggs him as the No. 117 overall player and No. 12 offensive tackle in the 2025 recruiting class. He is also rated as the No. 2 player in the state of Missouri, an area that has been going to the Irish in the 2023 and 2024 classes.

The 6-8, 275-pound offensive tackle has seen a big rise from a recruiting perspective since the season began. His offer list has continued to really blow up. Some of Lange’s top offers so far include Michigan, Washington, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan State, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and Vanderbilt among others.
