Notre Dame Makes Top Schools List For Elite OT Owen Strebig

For what seems like forever, Notre Dame has been extremely high on 2025 Waukesha (Wisc.) Catholic Memorial star offensive tackle Owen Strebig. The Wisconsin native has reciprocated that admiration, with the Irish appearing to be the front runner for him for some time now.

On Monday, Strebig released his updated top ten school list, which unsurprisingly included Notre Dame in that group. The Irish are joined by Michigan, USC, Florida, Florida State, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, and UCF.

The 6-8, 290-pound offensive tackle is already considered one of the top overall offensive line recruits in the 2025 recruiting class. Strebig is considered a consensus four-star recruit, currently sitting as a top 100 recruit by Rivals. Their site ranks him the highest overall, currently pegged as the No. 65 overall player and No. 6 offensive tackle in the class. Both Rivals and ESPN have him rated as the top overall player in the state of Wisconsin.

Strebig is also being courted by some of the top overall programs in all of college football. Some of his best offers so far include the Irish, Michigan, Miami, Florida State, USC, Penn State, Florida, Texas A&M, UCLA, Arkansas, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Kentucky, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Stanford, Kansas, Purdue, Indiana and Minnesota among others.

Even before Joe Rudolph took over as the offensive line coach, Notre Dame was high on Strebig. Rudolph’s Wisconsin roots have only strengthened that relationship. As it currently sits, Notre Dame is in a tremendous spot and should be viewed as the team to beat for Strebig.
