Notre Dame Makes Top Six For Offensive Tackle Jack Lange

In this story:
Notre Dame has had little issue recruiting offensive lineman historically. The hot streak has continued in the 2025 class, already having secured commitments from standouts Owen Strebig and Will Black.
On Friday, Eureka (Mo.) High School star offensive tackle Jack Lange drop his top six schools list and included the Irish. Notre Dame was a part of an impressive group of finalists, including Michigan, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Ole Miss and Missouri.
I’m so thankful for all of the opportunities that i’ve been given so far, with that being said i am going to focus my efforts towards these 6 schools! @HuskerFootball @MizzouFootball @NDFootball @OleMissFB @BadgerFootball @UMichFootball

“The culture at Notre Dame is so strong and the whole staff really cares about the players,” Lange told Irish Breakdown. “The 2025 class that they’re building is unmatched and it’s very exciting.”
With the Irish also in great position with Connecticut offensive tackle Matty Augustine, who is making his college decision on February 20th, there is some question about whether Notre Dame will take four offensive lineman. They are obviously still in a solid spot with Lange, who may end up being too good to pass up.
Lange is currently rated as a four-star by every major recruiting platform. 247Sports peggs him as the No. 117 overall player and No. 12 offensive tackle in the 2025 recruiting class. He is also rated as the No. 2 player in the state of Missouri, an area that has been going to the Irish in the 2023 and 2024 classes. In fact, all of 247Sports, On3 and Rivals rate him as the No. 2 player in the state. The lone exception is ESPN, that ranks him as the No. 1 player in the state.
The 6-8, 275-pound offensive tackle has seen a big rise from a recruiting perspective since the beginning of his junior season. His offer list has continued to really blow up. Some of Lange’s top offers so far include the Fighting Irish, Michigan, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Penn State, Washington, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Michigan State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Iowa, Kansas State, Iowa State, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, Kansas and Vanderbilt among others.
