Notre Dame Offer Something QB Noah Grubbs "Will Always Remember"

In this story:
There were a flurry of impressive recruits who flocked to Notre Dame on Thursday for their evaluation camp. Arguably the top quarterback on campus was 2026 Lake Mary (Fla.) High School signal caller Noah Grubbs, who was offered by the staff following the event.
Grubbs gave some insight into his overall experience. It was his first time in South Bend and presented a completely different vibe than what he was used to.
“Notre Dame was amazing,” Grubbs told Irish Breakdown. “It was an amazing experience like I’ve never had when exploring and touring a campus and their facilities. There was so much tradition and history and it truly feels like you have to walk around with a certain standard. I loved the coaching and the time they spent with me before and after the camp. They made me feel valued, which was great.”
Obviously the campus experience was notable. Getting the offer was a great ending to it all. Grubbs gave insight into that moment, and what it meant to him.
“I spent some time after the camp with Notre Dame's quarterback coach, Coach (Gino) Guidugli, in his office and we talked about football and stuff and as I was leaving he told me to go to the head coach's office because we have some “ good news” for you,” Grubbs explained. “So my dad and I went into Coach (Marcus) Freeman’s office, and he told me he thought I had a great day throwing the ball around and was very impressed and then told me “you have an offer from the University of Notre Dame.” It was a surreal moment for sure. It is one I’ll never forget.”
The staff, offer, and everything in between, made the experience special for Grubbs. It’s one that will stick with him forever.
“My interactions today were awesome like I mentioned before,” he explained. “I got to talk a lot with the quarterback coach who has a good relationship with my quarterback trainer so it was great spending time with him. Then of course my time with the head coach is a memory I’ll get to share with my future kids one day, lord willing.”
While Grubbs is very young, just finishing up his freshman year, he has already been hearing from several top programs. The overall recruiting process has been enjoyable so far.
“Recruiting has been great so far,” he stated. “I’ve met some really awesome coaches and toured some really cool places. I always dreamed of experiencing what I am now as a rising sophomore and knew it would happen one day but didn’t realize it would be a reality until I went on my first real visit in December to Virginia Tech with my dad and quarterback trainer. Ever since then, it’s been awesome and I currently have nine Division 1 offers.”
Grubbs is beginning to gain a lot of traction on the recruiting trail. On top of his recent offer from Notre Dame, he has also been offered by Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Duke and UCF among others.
The 6-4, 215-pound signal caller put together a standout freshman campaign in 2022. Grubbs led the team with 1,598 yards passing and 17 touchdowns. He was also careful with the football, only throwing six interceptions on the season.
