Notre Dame Extends Pot Of Gold Offer To Georgia Star Ousmane Kromah

On Friday, as a part of the Pot of Gold offer extravaganza, Notre Dame extended a scholarship offer to Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County running back Ousmane Kromah. The Georgia standout brings an impressive blend of size and explosiveness, already profiling as one of the top running backs in the 2025 recruiting class.

Kromah is already being pursued by several impressive programs. Some of his notable offers include the Fighting Irish, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Florida State, Tennessee, Michigan State, South Carolina, Colorado, Kentucky and Georgia Tech among others.

The 6-1, 210-pound runner is considered a four-star recruit by both On3 and Rivals. Kromah is considered the No. 54 overall player and No. 6 running back in the 2025 recruiting class on the On3 Industry ranking. Similarly, the Georgia native is also considered as the No. 75 overall player and No. 6 running back on the Rivals ranking.

In nine games as a sophomore, Kromah rushed for 1,504 yards and 20 touchdowns on just 181 carries. That is good enough for an 8.3 yard per carry average. Kromah also hauled in an additional 18 receptions for 193 receiving yards and two touchdowns on the year.

Under running back coach Deland McCullough, Notre Dame has quietly built one of the more talented running back rooms in all of college football. The search for more talent to add to the unit continues, this time taking a stop in Georgia.
