Notre Dame Offers Texas Running Back Javian Osborne

Notre Dame extends an offer to 2026 Texas running back Javian Osborne

The Pot of Gold has become a tradition for Notre Dame, highlighting some of the top underclassmen in high school football every year. As a part of the event on St. Patrick’s Day, an offer was extended to 2026 Forney (Texas) High School star running back Javian Osborne.

Despite just finishing his sophomore season, Osborne has already been putting together an impressive offer list. Some of the top schools who have extended offers thus far include the Irish, Georgia, Michigan, Texas, USC, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Washington, Oklahoma State, Louisville, Utah, TCU, Stanford, Texas Tech, Wisconsin, Baylor, UCF, Pittsburgh and SMU.

Osborne is currently ranked as a four-star recruit by Rivals, the only platform to currently have him ranked. He sits as the No. 95 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

The 5-9, 190-pound runner put together just a tremendous sophomore campaign for the Jackrabbits, a big reason they were able to put together a 13-2 overall record. In those 15 games, Osborne rushed for 2,231 yards and 41 touchdowns, averaging an incredible 7.7 yards per carry. Osborne also hauled in 12 receptions for 164 and two more scores through the air.
