Notre Dame Recruiting: Latest On Irish 2024 Prospects

Despite Notre Dame not having any 2024 visitors on campus this weekend things were very active for the Fighting Irish with the 2024 class. Notre Dame picked up a very important commitment from in-state safety Brauntae Johnson, but there was plenty of other action on the recruiting trail.

Our latest Notre Dame Recruiting Hour podcast broke down the latest with the remaining targets on the board for the Irish in the 2024 class.

Notre Dame Recruiting Hour

We dove into the latest with all the 2024 prospects on the board, and we began with Massachusetts offensive lineman Guerby Lambert. The talented tackle took a visit to Harvard this weekend, which should tell you everything you need to know about his desire to play somewhere with a strong academic background.

Next we moved onto Illinois defensive tackle Justin Scott and talked about the latest with him. It looks more and more like he will end playing in the North. The only question is will it be Notre Dame, Michigan or Ohio State. We discuss the top contenders and where Notre Dame fits into this equation.

Next we talked about talented California linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, who is down to Notre Dame, USC and Ohio State. We discuss the latest intel and rumors, and discuss why he's so important to the Notre Dame class, and why there is a lot of work to be done with this recruitment.

We stayed at linebacker for the next prospect, which is Alabama standout Bradley Shaw. During this portion we talk about where things stand with Shaw and who his top teams are, but also talked about how the Notre Dame staff feels about him as a prospect, and whether or not Notre Dame would take both him and Viliamu-Asa.

That was followed by a brief discussion about Utah safety Davis Andrews, Tennessee cornerback Kaleb Beasley and what happened with tight end Carter Nelson, who appears to be headed to Nebraska after we previously heard it would be a Notre Dame vs. Georgia battle.
