Notre Dame Recruiting Hour: Latest On Official Visits, Where Things Stand For 2024

Irish Breakdown looks at how things went this weekend for the Notre Dame official visitors and then broke down where the board stands

Notre Dame had its last big weekend for official visitors the last three days, and things went very well. In our latest Irish Breakdown show we talked recruiting, and where things stand for Notre Dame in the 2024 class and how it went this weekend.

Part one of our show recapped the official visitors.

PART I - OFFICIAL VISIT RECAP

Notre Dame hosted big-time linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, safety Malcolm Ziglar and linebacker Keyshawn Flowers. There were also some committed prospects on campus. Notre Dame made a big move with Viliamu-Asa, who is one of the very top players left on the board, and they also made up ground with Ziglar as the Irish continue to seek help at safety.

Part two of the show looked at the entire 2024 board.

PART II - BREAKING DOWN THE 2024 BOARD

In part two of the show we broke down the entire 2024 recruiting board. We discussed where things stand and then gave a confidence level evaluation regarding Notre Dame landing each player.

On top of the three official visitors we also discussed tight end Carter Nelson, offensive lineman Guerby Lambert, defensive lineman Justin Scott, linebacker Bradley Shaw, safety Brauntae Johnson and safety Taebron Bennie-Powell.

The discussion about Shaw at linebacker was especially deep.

After breaking down the board we answered questions as part of a Notre Dame mailbag. We continued the conversation about recruiting but also talked about the Irish team. One of the topics was where Notre Dame stands in relation to Ohio State and Michigan.
