Four Former Ohio State Buckeyes Ranked on PFF's Top 32 NFL Wide Receivers List

Second-year players Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave are among those predicted to shine in 2023, according to Pro Football Focus.

Four former Ohio State Buckeyes wide receivers were listed on Pro Football Focus' list of the top 32 National Football League (NFL) players at the position.

The Buckeyes are represented on the roster by Terry McLaurin (Washington Commanders), Garrett Wilson (New York Jets), Michael Thomas (New Orleans Saints), and Chris Olave (New Orleans Saints), in that order.

McLaurin was the highest rated out of his former teammates at eighth overall. The Indianapolis, Indiana native was also the only Scarlet and Gray alumnus ranked in the top ten.

McLaurin recorded the NFL's tenth-most yards last season with 1,191 alongside 77 receptions and five touchdowns. His 15.5 yards-per-catch average was eighth-best in the league.

Wilson earned the 13th spot after a rookie season that saw the native Texan bring in 83 catches for 1,103 yards and four scores. Going into his second year, and first playing with future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Wilson is set for even bigger numbers.

Thomas was next up on the list at No. 27 overall. The Los Angeles-born pass catcher played in only three games last season while he dealt with a toe injury, but resigned with the Saints on a one-year deal over the off-season.

Plenty of eyes will be on Thomas as he, like Wilson, enters his first season with a new man behind center (Derek Carr, in this case).

Thomas' Saints teammate Chris Olave was the final former Buckeye to be recognized. Olave broke the four-digit-yards mark like McLaurin and Wilson, tallying 1,042 on 72 receptions.

A native of San Ysidro, California, Olave crossed the goal line four times and recorded three tackles as well.
