Ohio State Thoroughly Dominates Nebraska in First Half

The Blackshirts came out of the first half against Ohio State's array of offensive and defensive weapons with black eyes Saturday night at Nebraska.
Justin Fields ran for one touchdown and Jeffrey Okudah set up two OSU scores with a pair of interceptions as OSU made a mockery of the notion that it would struggle on the road.
Although improved this season, Nebraska's defense is still far from the legendary Blackshirts that powered national championship runs during the Tom Osborne era.

Fields completed 10 of 15 attempts for 148 yards and two scores by the break.
J.K. Dobbins rushed for 114 yards before giving way to backup Master Teague, who scored twice.
Okudah's interception at midfield ended Nebraska's first possession and set up OSU's first TD.
Fields scored it on a 15-yard run, splitting the middle when man-to-man coverage created a massive opening.
The Buckeyes doubled that 7-0 lead upon forcing a punt, with Fields' 2-yard pass to K.J. Hill accounting for the touchdown.
Nebraska threatened to respond, but Martinez overthrew Washington out of the backfield and he tipped the pass to Okudah, who intercepted it while lying on his back.
And it’s about time we start saying @OhioStateFB is “Cornerback U”. Flat out monsters year after year after year! #GoBucks🌰

And, just think...LeBron Tweeted that before Jordan Fuller intercepted Martinez a third time after Blake Haubiel's 23-yard field goal made it, 17-0.

It took OSU just three plays to go 50 yards and run its lead to 24-0 on Teague's 8-yard run at 8:26 of the second quarter.
The Buckeyes must have liked that three-play drive, because they offered another after another Nebraska punt.
This one covered 55 yards, all of them by Teague, the first via a 28-yard swing pass, then carries for 26 and 1 yard.
So much for this GameDay sign.
