Brey Walker has found a home.

Walker, a senior offensive lineman at Oklahoma and a former 5-star prospect, announced Sunday he’s transferring to Texas State.

Walker announced on Dec. 4 he was entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Walker was rated a 5-star recruit by 247 Sports, the No. 4 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 29 overall prospect in the 2018 class. Rivals and ESPN rated him as a 4-star prospect, and he was the consensus No. 1 player in the state of Oklahoma

The 6-foot-7, 355-pound Walker played in one game and redshirted in 2018, then played in 13 games with three starts in 2019. In 2020, Walker played three games, and in 2021 he got into 12 games on special teams and in a backup role.

In 2022, Walker played in 12 of 13 games but only got three snaps on offense.

During his career, the Westmoore product played 311 total offensive snaps, according to Pro Football Focus, including 178 as a redshirt freshman.

Walker will join fellow portal departure Marcus Alexander, who announced on April 17 his decision to transfer to Texas State.
