Oklahoma Trio Invited to 2024 NFL Combine

In this story:
Oklahoma’s contingent of players headed to the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine was announced on Tuesday.
Three of Bill Bedenbaugh’s offensive linemen — Tyler Guyton, Andrew Raym and Walter Rouse — are all headed to Indianapolis to participate in the combine from Feb. 26-March 4.
Guyton, who is widely projected to become Bedenbaugh’s second first round pick, will get a chance to cement his status among the NFL’s elite offensive tackle prospects while Raym and Rouse will look to build on positive reviews from their Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl performances.
Notably, wide receiver Drake Stoops didn't receive and invite.
Stoops caught 84 passes for 962 yards and 10 touchdowns last year, and was an essential piece of Oklahoma's passing attack.
Three former OU players also got invites to the combine.
Caleb Williams and Spencer Rattler, who once shared the same quarterback room in Norman, both were invited.
Williams, the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner, threw for 3,633 yards and 30 touchdowns, completing 68.6 percent of his passes while throwing five picks as USC finished 2023 at 8-5 after appearing in the Pac 12 title game in 2022.
Rattler posted a career-high in passing yards last year for South Carolina, throwing for 3,186 yards and 19 scores while also tossing eight interceptions.
David Ugwoegbu also got an invite to the combine after transferring to Houston and sliding to defensive end. He totaled 41 tackles, six tackles for loss and three quarterback sacks with the Cougars in 2023 while also forcing one fumble.
