The 5-foot-10, 150-pound Daniels visited OU over the weekend. He doesn’t have a rating from 247 Sports, On3 or ESPN, but Rivals rates him as a 3-star prospect.
He was reportedly offered by new OU receivers coach Emmett Jones in February. He chose OU over offers from Texas Tech, Tulane, Cincinnati, Louisiana Tech, Houston and others.
Jones immediately posted a reaction tweet to the news of Daniels' commitment.

Daniels told On3 why he chose OU.
“The coaching staff stood out to me a lot!” Daniels said. “I love the way they coach and handle their players. They make sure you’re good on and off the field. Also I like the way they used Marvin Mims and they relate me to him.
“I think I’m a perfect fit for them. They’re also a very great program and they re building a dominant team and I’m ready to be part of it. Also, the atmosphere behind Oklahoma is great. They show actual support and love.”
He told On3 that he has a “very strong relationship” with Jones.
He’s the Sooners’ third member of the 2024 class, joining defensive back Jeremiah Newcombe and quarterback Michael Hawkins.
