Sooners in the NFL: Week Seven

In this story:
Oklahoma’s NFL professionals took the field for week seven action, and outside a select few players, it was a relatively quiet week.
Jalen Hurts out on a show in front of the national audience on Sunday night. The Eagles got back on track knocking off one of the hottest teams in the NFL — the Miami Dolphins. Hurts led the way throwing for 279 yards and three touchdowns on 23-of-31 — good for 74.2% completion. He added 11 rushes for 21 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Mark Andrews had a huge day through the air, helping lead Baltimore to 38-6 victory over an impressive Detroit Lions squad. Andrews hauled in four catches on the afternoon, and half of them went for scores. He finished the game with 63 yards and two touchdowns. Andrews now has five scores on the season and is cementing himself as one of the top tight end in the NFL.
Rhamondre Stevenson had a solid day out of the backfield, finding success as a reliable check down. He didn’t receive much volume, rushing just nine times for 34 yards, but added six catches for 51 yards through the air. With the game on the line, Stevenson took a short pass 34 yards to set the Patriots up for a game tying touchdown.
Baker Mayfield and the Bucs faltered for the second week in a row, dropping a winnable game against the Falcons. Mayfield struggled to throw the ball downfield but had an average statistical day, recording 275 yards, one touchdown, and an interception on 27-of-42 passing. He also added 32 rushing yards on three carries.
