Sunday Offering: Oklahoma Shells out Four Offers at Venables Camp, Seven Total

In this story:
NORMAN — Brent Venables and his staff have been busy this summer, making offers to athletes from across the nation while hosting the Brent Venables Elite Camp.
Last week, the second and third session of camp produced three more OU offers in the 2025 class and one additional offer in the 2024 cycle. Three prospects who weren't in Norman last week also received offers.
Dozie Ezukanma, a 2024 wide receiver from All Saints Episcopal School in Dallas, picked up an offer after a solid outing at the Venables camp on June 8. The 6-foot-3 pass catcher is the younger brother of former Texas Tech and current Miami Dolphin wideout Erik Ezukanma.
Dozie is a 3-star recruit, holding offers from Texas A&M, Oregon and Miami, among others. The rising senior is projected to land with Texas Tech, but Ezukanma's perceived preference could shift with the Sooners' throwing their hat in the ring for the talented wideout.
Another 2024 prospect to receive an offer from Oklahoma last week was De'Andre Cook, a defensive end out of Friendship Collegiate Academy in Washington, DC. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds, Cook is a 3-star recruit who holds over 20 offers.
Despite being ranked outside of the top 300 players in his class by the 247Sports Composite, Cook has an impressive offer list, including blue-blood programs such as Alabama, USC and Penn State.
Fellow 2024 d-lineman Joe Barna of Wheaton North (IL) also earned an offer from OU last week. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, the consensus 3-star recruit has nearly 15 offers, including Wisconsin, Iowa State, Purdue and Missouri.
In the 2025 class, Michael Turner Jr. received an offer from the Sooners' coaching staff after a dominant showing at the second session of the Venables camp. The Richland (TX) running back performed well in both running back and wide receiver drills, proving to be too quick for defenders in one-on-one reps.
According to On3, Turner is one of the top 100 players in the nation and a top 10 running back. Listed at 6-foot and 190 pounds, the star tailback is a 4-star recruit with offers from Texas Tech, Wisconsin and Oregon, among others.
Royal Capell, a 2025 receiver from Cibolo Steele (TX) received an offer from OU wide receivers coach Emmett Jones in the middle of the Brent Venables Elite Camp. The 5-foot-11 speedster sprinted by defensive backs with ease in the morning session of camp, leaving to take photos in a Sooners uniform after being extended an offer.

Listed as a 4-star recruit by On3, Capell is rated No. 105 in his class. The shifty wideout currently holds offers from Missouri, Houston, Baylor and Oregon, among others.
The final player to receive an offer after a successful day at the Venables camp was 2025 Sumner (FL) offensive lineman Ziyare Addison. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds, the rising junior reportedly impressed offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh during his time in Norman, earning Addison an offer from Oklahoma.
A 4-star recruit per 247Sports and On3, Addison is rated in the top 200 players and top 20 o-lineman in the country on both sites. The Tampa native currently boasts offers from Oregon, Penn State and Florida State, among others.
Gabe Kaminski, a 2025 defensive lineman from Nazareth Academy (IL) also picked up an offer from the OU coaching staff last week. The 6-foot-3 edge rusher is rated a 4-star recruit according to Rivals, ranked as one of the top six d-lineman in his class.
Kaminski has already racked up an impressive offer sheet, including USC, Notre Dame, Michigan and Tennessee, among others.
With two more sessions of the Brent Venables Elite Camp this week, there will likely be more offers extended by the Sooners' staff over the next seven days.
